How do i get gnats out of my home?

I tried everything and the only thing that got rid of them quickly is putting apple cider vinegar and when they are swarming around it I kept my shop vac next to it. Every time I went in the kitchen I would turn the shop vac on and suck them up. Me and my husband kind of enjoyed it. After trying to get rid of them for two weeks it only took a day for us to finally get them out of the house!

The cider vinegar does work. I know this sounds gross, but put up fly strips where they are the worst. They really do work and make it go a bit quicker. Make sure that you clean all the fruit and vegetables you leave on the counter. Do not leave out thin skinned produce out as they can pierce it and lay their eggs in them. Also check potatoes and onions that you have stored. If there is one going bad you will get infested like my mom did.

Take a baby food jar add apple cider vinegar with a drop of dish soap cover with lid with holes in it. Works great!

Buy a fruit fly catcher for about 5.00 at any ACE or ACO store.

First don't clean up the spider webs. Gnats get caught in them. Second check your screens for holes.
