How do I get baby rabbits out of my window well?

It’s about four foot deep and the bunnies keep darting into a crack at the bottom. They are pretty fast.

Sone baby rabbits have taken residence in my flower planters on my back deck. I would like to move them out but don’t want to harm them or put them in danger?
How darn CUTE! Love little bun buns. Can you just lay a mesh / screen over the top of the well(s)? And use temporary fasteners or place a lightweight plant on top to keep it in place?
Is there any way to get to the crack and bar their entrance? Put a piece of chicken wire in front of it or a piece of wood or fill with dirt or concrete.
I would try chicken wire. It works to keep rabbits from garden vegetables.
but wear leather gloves..Chicken wire can bite!
you want them out, just put some wooden ramps for them to climb up on and they'll get out on their own
I think a shotgun is too messy. I suggest a flooding the space with water and when they float to the top just pluck them out.
Harware cloth screen, fastened down atop the window well area, or weighted should do the trick. You can purchase heavy duty window well covers that have a section that permits attachment to house. Place rocks around the front with a small section of screening, to prevent entry at the front edge.
The plank sounds the best move. If you know ofay none with a cat or dog that is willing to give you some brushed out fur place a bit in the window well for the time being. The animal scent may deter their return.
Put down used coffee grounds, keeps the rabbits and chipmunks out of my garden.
Angle in a board, preferably a rough one to make climbing out easy. If the bunnies don't willingly leave, try lowering in something that makes noise to make the window well scarier. Once the rabbits are out, immediately cover the window well, crack, etc. with chicken wire or hardware cloth. Bend the cover tightly into place with gloved hands; a small mammal can usually get through a space that is big enough to admit its skull, or worse, get part way through the gap and become trapped. Baby rabbits are only with their mothers a couple times a day at long intervals, so if you leave the window uncovered, the poor little "dumb bunnies" will keep getting back into it.
Why do you want to get rid of them....just wondering. ...I always figured we stole their homes, so if they aren't hurting anything, I even feed the animals in my little back yard, as long as they behave, that is....
