How do I get rid of Fire Ants?

I have fire ants on my cabinet can not find where they r coming in
I know they r coming in for wate, other than cinnamon what can I use that is not poison to spray?

boric acid ...ants eat it, take it to the nest, share it ---they all die.....no need to search for the nest. comes in a tube like super glue...just a few drops in the area of the ants will do -

Pour apple cider vinegar on them. Tried it this year in my flower pot and patio. No more ants later in evening . Took a stick and made a hole. Poured the vineger in the hole too. -
