I just share my flower garden with four legged wanderers. I've cleaned litter or picked up dog poop most of my life, so it's not really an issue. We had a male cat once who would pee on the same spot on the grass all the time. That spot was the lushest and greenest and fastest growing grass on our big lawn!
sprinkle red pepper flakes where they go when they sniff to find the spot they will change their mind. If that doesn't work try Half Eucalyptus oil and warm water in a spray bottle .
