The recipe I use is 1 gallon of white vinegar and 1 cup of table salt, but epsom salt works too, I guess. I usually add a squirt of Dawn dish soap to the mix as it helps the liquid adhere to the weeds better. Hope this helps you get rid of those pesky weeds! Grrr! :)
This is the best method that we use and Hometalk actually just featured it! Good luck! Hugs, Holly

use plain salt and plain vinegar -- 1 cup each to a gallon of water, with a tablespoon of a dish detergent to act as a 'wetting' agent ... no point in paying for 'fancy' ingredients .. and EPSOM salt is NOT 'Salt' -- it's Magnesium Sulfate and used as a fertilizer -- among other things. This will have to be reapplied throughout the season as it only affects the foliage --- but 'kill the green' and eventually you will deprive the plant of needed nutrients and the root system will die. Sadly, this in not usually a 'one time shot' !!
I use 1 gallon vinegar, 1/2 cup Epsom salt, 1/2 cup liquid dawn dish soap. Mix in gallon size sprayer. Works great!
