How to get rid of aphids and squash beetles organically

Hi! Each year I struggle with aphids! The decimate my roses!! My pumpkins and cucumbers were killed by beetles! I really want to get rid of all the chemicals and become healthy thru organic foods! Help! Thank you!! :-D
This is an example of what's happening to my roses! Only there are probably 2x the amount on each rose bud!

Sprinkle some cinnamon. Most pests don't like it an it wards off fungus as well.

I deal with this often since I have lots of roses. Simple---put rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and spray the buds where you see the aphids. Last time I did this rain came pouring down soon after, so I had to repeat after a few days. Alcohol is cheap at the Dollar Store.

Hi @Ms. M - Hometalk just wrote a super helpful article on getting rid of bugs (thanks @Mary Jo Spain for sharing it here). For Aphids, ladybugs are a great option, but also adding chopped up banana peel to the top layer of soil will do wonders to keep them away! Good luck :)

The bananas are also rich in potassium which roses love. My roses are doing great also plant garlic nearby it wards off lots pests.
