Depends on where you live and what kind of rabbits. In PA we have Cotten Tails that don't last long due to predation.

According to Wikipedia, "All rabbits except cottontails live underground in burrows or warrens." And the University of California Rabbit Management page states that 'fencing must be sunk 6 to 10 inches into the ground and a few inches should be buried laterally to deter rabbits from digging beneath it.'
My suggestion: Once you see the young rabbits 'out & about,' start digging a trench around your slab; run a length of wire fine enough so that the smallest rabbit can't get through it. form the wire into an 'L' shape, placing it level with the edge of the slab & the balance of it out into the lawn area [overlapping sections where they end]; bury it. The wire will keep the rabbits from digging next to the slab & the angle that projects out into the lawn area keeps the rabbits from getting 'under' the edges. You may have to do this with the foundation of your home, depending how it is structured. You can use powdered Coyote Urine around the edges of your property; it's best to leave an 'opening' for them to leave. IF you sprinkle the Coyote Urine around the slab...also leave a way for them to 'get out,' or you may end up having them burrow under your foundation...which you don't want to happen.
