Get rid of the nest and sprinkle or spray an animal repellent product around your shed. You can also grate Irish Spring Soap and toss the chunks around the shed's perimeter.
Had that in my Mom's shed... closed off the opening by covering with Hardware cloth (= wire mesh) and left the original 'vent' open... no more critters.
