I would watch and see where they are coming and going from, then the next day when they leave, get up there and plug up the holes....Squirrels will eat wiring and can cause a fire. Make sure your chimney if you have one has a critter-proof cap.Helpful Reply -

We had squirrels in our attic a few years ago. We put mothballs up there (keep track of where you put it) and that drove them out. Then, we sealed up anywhere they could get in. Then we got rid of the stinky mothballs. It worked.Helpful Reply -
