How to get squirrels out of the attic?

i know I did not spell the animal correct

    Set up traps or poison and seal their entry. Be prepared to have to remove a dead animal if you set traps or poison.

      Only use poison if you don't have any pets. If the squirrel eats the poison and gets into the living area the pet could eat the dying creature and be poisoned.

    I would watch and see where they are coming and going from, then the next day when they leave, get up there and plug up the holes....Squirrels will eat wiring and can cause a fire. Make sure your chimney if you have one has a critter-proof cap.

    We had squirrels in our attic a few years ago. We put mothballs up there (keep track of where you put it) and that drove them out. Then, we sealed up anywhere they could get in. Then we got rid of the stinky mothballs. It worked.
