I need a DIY weed killer for my sidewalk weeds?

I like to pour salt on the weeds. It works quite well. ...I also have used cheap white vinegar with great success.

Salt water? Or just sprinkling salt?

Hi there, Deb. Ugh I hate weeds. You can use salt and you can use vinegar and they will work to kill the weeds. And, pouring boiling water on them works. But, you'll still have dead brown weeds to pull. Why not just pull them in the first place. It sucks, but I play games with myself and set a timer and just see how many weeds I can pull before the timer goes. Before you know it you'll have the job done. Good luck!
