Meely bugs on all my cactus plant, all 6 of them. How can I get rid of

Get a systemic bug killer and mix it into the top of the dirt in the pot. When the bugs feed on the cactus they will die. They can spread from plant to plant so isolate the affected plants and also treat the soil of others that may have been close.Helpful Reply -

Make a dishsoap/water spray. Spray all infected areas. The soap coats the mealy bugs and effectively suffocates them. It also breaks down their protective waxy layer. You can rub the plant with a soft cloth after spraying to remove the bugs, or leave the solution overnight and then attack the weakened bugs with a strong jet of water.Helpful Reply -

I can vouch for dishwashing liquid. I mixed it in a sprayer bought new as the one I had was used for weed killer. The next day washed the bugs and their gunk off with the water hose. I just put a couple of big squirts of Dawn in the gallon of water.Helpful Reply -
