Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
I had 6 squirrels eating my front yard bird seed. I set out a hav-a-hart live trap, and put sunflower seeds in a cup at the end of the trap. I moved most of the easy to get to bird feeders to my back yard. I caught 4 squirrels in 3 days. I moved them to some state land , about 4 miles away. I left the last 2 squirrels , I like to watch their antics . Or depending where you are, a .22 will end them.
Wow, I've never heard of that. With how accessible the nest is, I would have thought a stray cat or raccoon (even a possum). That is going to be a hard fix, starting with screen or mesh around the bottom/sides of the framework (to prevent access from the sides and below), then relocating it away from that post or using a sturdy wildlife guard to prevent predators from climbing up to it. Good luck.
If the tree has no other trees close by and the squirrels have to climb up from the ground, you can wrap tin foil around the base of the tree, if you can get close enough to the nest without disturbing them you could try putting tin foil around the branches leading to the nest
Hang wind chimes, and anything that moves in the wind or makes noise. But you'll need to switch it up every so often as they will get used to it
I have never heard of squirrels eating baby birds before! That's so weird!
Troyer bird houses are safe for birds to raise a family. They are designed to stop predators from attacking the baby birds.
wow this says squirrels WILL eat baby birds and eggs and even KILL adult birds sometimes and eat them! https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=MvURW4HnNIKb5wLAqoLoDw&q=do+squirels+eat+birds&oq=do+squirels+eat+birds&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i10k1l3j0i22i10i30k1j0i22i30k1l6.2057.9484.0.10392.24.22.1.0.0.0.140.2093.14j7.21.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..2.22.2099.0..0j0i131k1j0i13k1j0i13i10i30k1j0i8i13i30k1.0.IPdONOv2SE8
