I’ve noticed when I water my potted plants, there are spiderwebs in various spots. What kind of spiders make these?

Hi Rose, when I get fine webs on plants they are usually caused by red spider mites - a very tiny spider. If you mist the plants regularly that helps, though in the end I usually spray them with an insecticide that kills the red spider mite - of course there may be another bug causing the same problem. Good luck

You likely have aphids on your plants. Wash them in the sink or tub, carefully spraying off each leaf. You can google natural ways to take care of these.

I was afraid of that. Thanks. I’ll try spraying them off with my water hose. I do have insecticidal soap if I need it. Thanks!
