    For use on cracks only

    1-gallon white vinegar

    1 1/2 - 2 cups Epsom salt

1/4 cup dish soap (or castile soap)

To make the DIY weed killer, combine the ingredients in the order listed in a large garden sprayer.

Replace the lid on the sprayer, and gently swirl around the ingredients. You don’t want to shake it so vigorously that the soap foams too much.

Pump up your sprayer and wet the weeds with your DIY weed killer solution.

In my garden beds I prefer to hand dig. I use baking soda to control moss. Moss is usually a sign that the soil needs aeration, or the area is remaining too damp. With dampness you can simply add some sand when you till it up or aerate.

I use regular dish soap and white vinegar and spray the various weeds around the yard. This mixture is adequate. You might try liquid corn gluten meal to help prevent weeds from growing. I used the dry version and am going to try this liquid verson next week. I ordered it yesterday. The dry version works pretty well, but you have to put it down in March before the weeds start to come out. About 6 weeks ago I added 100 lbs of soybean meal to my yard and it really helped getting a much thicker green grass growing which help control the weeds. I hate yard work. Such a waste of time fighting weeds and bugs.
