Find where they are perching/nesting and install Pigeon excluders...just google and you will find a number of suppliers -

You need an awning. You cannot redirect all birds flying over your porch. -

I often have this issue. We got a couple of bird feeders in our yard and they stay out of our patio now :) -

Put out whirly-gigs to scare them away from your porch....OR blow up 4-5 balloons, space them with string, tie each end to a portion of your porch, so the balloons float & move. That scares them. -

Larger cities with big pigeon populations try to find ways to limit their access to areas that people walk and gather in. -

Use toy/plastic snakes. Birds will not go near them.
