Moles are destroying our yard and flower beds. We've tried different traps, poison worms, gas, mole beans. The only thing that worked was to put insecticide on the lawn, but don't like doing that.

Your yard has moles because moles have food... insect larvae underground.

To attack them, it would be good to know what insect... and use an insecticide for larval AND adult stages...

Sadly, I can't recommend a non-chemical solution.. but NOW would be a good time to start.

(Where are you located... might be important to the solution)

I had that problem, several years ago. I was at the "Farm Show" and got to talking to an old pig farmer. He told me to get "Juicy Fruit" gum. He said to unwrap it and roll it up. Then to stick it in the ground, where the critters are. I haven't had any since. It also works for any diggers like, gophers, muskrats, etc.

You will have to treat the ground to kill the grubs, the moles are there to eat the grubs. When the grubs are gone the moles will go away.
