I have read several articles that say pouring boiling hot water on weeds will kill them very quickly. Might give it a try.
make a mixture of white vinegar and water 50/50 add a dab of dish soap and a dab of salt
Round up weed killer
Spray with vinegar
For an organic solution to weeds, you can mix strong vinegar, orange oil, and a tablespoon of dish soap to drench weeds early on a hot, sunny day. Put 2 Tbsp. of orange oil plus the liquid dish soap into a gallon of vinegar. Use a spray bottle or sprayer and target the weeds individually. Be careful to protect the plants you want to save. It is amazing how quickly the sun works with the concoction to eliminate the weeds. Molasses will eliminate the crab grass that tends to attack the pavement against the curb. That type of plant tends to grow in poor soil & the molasses enriches the area and the plants do not like the environment.
Add Dawn dish detergent to your weedkiller. It will help stick it to the weeds better. Also, spray in the morning on a dry day.
Weeds are always going to turn up, that is just nature. Spray with full strength vinegar. That will work.
In a Gallon of white vinegar add a cup of. salt then spray the weeds , they will die in a few days, and not come back. Don't get it anywhere you plant flowers they will not grow.
Hello MoEagle91, If you pour boiling water on them followed by sprinkling salt that should do the trick. A lot of salt. Like a whole box. Hope this helps.
Spray them. Go to search, on your comp., and search for weed sprays and they will give you lots of ideas too. Good luck. Some maybe household goods, and some maybe with poison. So, check carefully. J.
Please use the above organic methods of your choice (boiling water is my go to for all weeds) and stay away from Roundup; it's toxic to all life in general. (Refer to issues surrounding organic farmers in reference to Roundup.)
I dissolve rock salt in white vinegar and spray or pour it on the weed. Works for me.
Vinegar, salt and dish soap (Google recipe). WARNING: only use if you wish to never have growth there again as the salt makes the soil uninhabitable.
You could try burning them with a propane torch. A good singeing to the tops should be enough to knock them out.
