When should the first application of dandelion and Clover control put down in the spring I live in Methuen Massachusetts

When you see them growing and, actually fall is best for dandelions. -

Vinegar is a natural weed killer, just don't get it on your grass. If you aren't worried about natural products, Scotts is a good brand. I would check with my local nursery, they would know what works best in your area. Good luck! -

If you are following a regular fertilizing program the first step is the crabgrass pre-emergent done in April ....second step 6-8 weeks after is the Weed and feed....Other wise use Weed b gone by Ortho
