How do I transform a deck into a sun room?

How do I turn a deck 14 x 18 into a sun room...I already have a patio door to the the deck..I will need windows and screens...but I am open to using more patio doors instead of windows...it is the roofing part that evades me...thanks so much...

Sorry, doesn't work that way. A deck foundation is not sufficient to carry the load of walls and a roof. You have to remove the deck and start from scratch. Building plans need to be submitted, permits issued, inspections performed. Anything attached to an existing structure requires a permit. Obtain bids from licensed contractors, at least 3 if not more. Here is how to hire a contractor.

Sorry to burst your bubble, it's just for your safety! When you proceed, you need to notify your homeowners insurance carrier to adjust coverage and premium. County tax assessor will adjust your property tax status too.
