How can I update my pitted, chipping pool deck?

We just had the pool resurfaced and that ate more of our budget than anticipated. The pool deck is concrete and now has a concrete cap over the old spa. The paint is at least 10 years old and is a chipping and cracked dull gray. We have converted from chlorine to salt. And I'm worried the deck is going to take a beating.
