How can I create a walkway using pavers or flat rocks?
I recently moved into a house and on the side of my house the sidewalk stops 1/2 of the way down. I would also like to finish this with the same walkway from the pool to the back porch. It looks as the the original owner used 5' x 2 1/2' pavers. I would like to continue the walkway directly to the pool. This would require approximately 15' and from the pool to the porch another 10'. Any suggestions?

The area needs to be leveled and smooth with a flat blade shovel, fill with sand or pea sized stone, and then level the pavers or flat rocks in the gravel. You will need a long level to span from paver to paver to be sure they are level with each other as well as individually level. You can leave the sides to be held in by the sod, or use a decorative brick to line the sides of the walk area.
