What color for grey vinyl siding home? Shutters are dark red

I'am buying a house that has grey vinyl siding. The shutters are deep red. The door is a stained wooden door. What other colors would go good for Sutter's and door. I like the red and would like the door the same color what do y'all think?

Eggplant purple would work. My neighbor has grey siding and painted her door and shutters this luxurious purple. It looks stunning.

Take a picture of your house and print it out...make copies.. cut the shutter and door shapes out of different colored paper... turquoise, apple green, bright yellow... and see what you like... TRY everything...magenta, tangerine, plum.... your final choice may not be the one you thought it would be. And consider adding some lighter colored trim like white or cream... to set the colors off more.... Remember it is just paint... you CAN change it.

I think the red door would look beautiful. Grey is a nice neutral, so you could accent with almost any color

My first thought was black shutters with a red door. Look at these pictures and see if it helps make up your mind. Colors are fun!

Try charcoal colored shutters instead of the obvious black. Charcoal is very dark gray and looks sophisticated with the gray siding. Then pick a beautiful bold color for the door like aqua, yellow, lime green--your favorite color. It's only the door that is bold and if you tire of it, it's not that much to repaint. The gray house and charcoal shutters remain neutral and your door can change color as trends change.
