Camoflague ugly dog crates- DIY ideas?

2 very ugly rather large dog crates need to stay in family/common area of house. Any ideas to camoflague these eyesores would be great. Decent craft skills, can use a drill and a glue or staple gun but that's the extent of tools.

Are they made put of metal ? For that maybe I'd think about painting them a neutral color to somewhat match your decor. Same with the bedding, why not upgrade to again match you decor. You can look around and find these end tables that you can make into a dog house for your home.
Make a cover for each of them. It hides them from view and offers the dogs privacy
You can build a table around them, or add a top and cloth to make them double as tables. You can build around them and create extra seating as well.
Just get rid of the crates.
It all depends how big the crate is but there ideas out there on how to make it less of an eye sore.
