I would like to keep the table top I have but put higher legs on it to make it a pub height.

You could get risers or wood extensions and attach them.
Hi Pat, you can purchase new table legs in the height and style you like and exchange them for the ones now on your table OR you can add to the table legs you now have. I'm assuming the legs are made of wood, but if not, you can replace with hairpin legs if you like that look. Below is a link that may help you understand what I'm talking about by adding height to your current table without replacing the legs now attached.

Hello. There are table leg risers that can be purchased or for a streamlined look a new base might be considered.
Lowe's carries them as does Amazon
You should be able to purchase screw in legs at a hardware store. They will need to be painted or stained and then just screw into the corners.

I've bought furniture legs from Etsy, Amazon and Ebay.
Pat,
I had a table that was coffee table height that i changed to end table height with "Dowel Screws" from Home Depot.
I used the original legs and found new legs that were similar (at Home Depot) and "lengthened the table legs with the dowel screw" - you drill a hole into the exiting leg push the dowel screw in the hole, the new leg drill a hole in that screw that onto the dowel screw that is in the original leg and bingo you have a longer table leg!
To hide the seam you could use plastic wood filler. We have a "coastal, nautical" interior going so I took some rope soaked that in glue and wrapped the string around the table leg the seam seam where the new leg meets the old leg. I painted the table with a few colors no one would ever see the seam table looks perfect.

Hello, you could just add "boots" to the table legs to make them taller.

You could add Blocks under each leg.
