How do I change a footboard into a headboard?

In a recent move I lost the headboard and siderails to a bed. I have a bed frame that I'd like to attach to the footboard. It's too low so I need to lift it up, perhaps by attaching it to a board that can be attached to the bed frame. Any ideas?

You can just attach foot board directly to wall and just use a metal bed frame.
That sounds like a great idea! Assuming your footboard is wood, I would think to add wood to the bottom to make it taller should be fairly straight forward.
Lower headboards are in style right now so it may be trendy to go lower but if you want it higbter maybe attach the headboard to the wall and push your bed into place
You can add long pieces of wood behind the footboard to raise the height.
Screw it to the wall.
