I have an old table without the glass top. What is a more economical material to use? Table is over 50 years old and in good condition.
You will probably need to sand it off and clean it and then spray paint it with a good metal spray paint, like Rustoleum brand. Not knowing what seats, I have included some links for ideas (I redid some wrought iron chairs by weaving old leather belts, and also by using old ripped up shower curtain fabric and weaving that into a seat as well):

Pressure clean it to get the old paint off or sand blast it or use paint remover.
Prime it and paint ti.
Thank you Archie
A steam cleaner (if you have one) after pressure washing would be helpful getting all the paint off. Also brass brushes. Rustoleum makes spray paints for outdoor metal furniture.
