Rustoleum makes a great outdoor paint for metal furniture -- but the secret to a good paint job is adequate preparation -- Clean thoroughly ( pressure wash), remove all signs of rust - steel wool/sand paper will work; make sure furniture is 'sound' -- most paints today have a rust inhibitor built in -- but you could prime with Red Lead paint if you have to.
