
Is there a way to redo a marble counter top?

Has your countertop been sealed? If not, that might be the problem. If it's not stained, you should be able to reseal it. Click on the link below for an article that might help. However if it's stained, you'll need to clean it first. I've include a link for that too. If it has become dull, it can be resurfaced. Probably need some pro advice on doing it. I believe you use a pad of some kind on the sander or drill with a buffing wheel. I put marble in one bathroom, floor shower and walls. Only regret is the floor...very hard to keep it looking good. Stains that have infiltrated the marble layers is there for good, so if that is the problem, you definitely need pro help.Helpful Reply -

Don't do anything to damage a marble counter - it is one of the most expensive countertops on the market. Like the others stated, you can have it resurfaced if it is dull and there are cleaners and sealers sold just for this product.Helpful Reply -
