Can use one color of paint or several. Also can put names of children on back. Can use stencils. Lots of things. You may need to sand some areas. -

I am 75 and still use my mothers kindergarden chair from church. Over the decades it has had a few colors. A few years back I asked my talented daughter to paint and decorate it. She painted it a creme color and added purple and green grapes and ivy. On the kickplate on the bottom of the chair she printed my mothers name, my name, her name and her sisters name and her daughters name. I am starting to retire it but still use it in a pinch. It is a lovely keepsake. Good luck..
