I used to watch Kitty Bartholomew on HGTV with my sister. I think we mostly watched it for her awesome hair but also for the awesome homes!
I love this idea- When we was in primary school, if we were home sick, we were allowed to watch "trading spaces" and fantasize about what we would do if we could re-do our room as well
Shoshana's post centered on Kitty Bartholomew . I remembered the name but couldn't picture her face. A Google search yielded this slide show (https://www.popsugar.com/home/photo-gallery ) of DIY shows. The content on the internet always amazes me.
I loved watching Kitty and the other shows of that time
period. There are so fewer of those types of shows on now.
Seems to be mostly buying, flipping or major redos. We still
have a few laughs over the decorators who covered the walls
with straw, with toddlers in the house..lol. Or covering bathroom
walls with silk flowers.
Ms. Jennings was one of the very first craft/DIY/decorating programs I ever watched! Actually, i wish it was still on..so much better than what's on today!
I believe she is living in New Mexico.
