There's always the annoying option of replacing the whole faucet but it sure LOOKS like it should unscrew! Have you tried hitting with boiling water before trying to unscrew it or even WD40?
It should unscrew. Someone put it on there so it has to come off! WD40!
The mounting piece, that looks gray on yours should turn clockwise. If it's been on there for awhile, you may need a wrench.
You probably need a plumber's wrench, the kind that you put on and then tighten, to remove by turning to the left. Since it's on the sink, it probably has quite a bit of build up that is causing it to stick. You can also try putting a bag of white vinegar over it and letting it soak to loosen the deposits.
Hello, you can pour some vinegar over the connection where it is screwed on, it is likely seized from being on so long, it will turn off nicely, you can purchase new aerator at the dollar store. Here are a few videos that could maybe help you out.

There is a black screw in washer that goes on the facet first then you screw in the filter try to turn that until the filter comes off try hot hot water pour it on top boiling water if you have to the plastic will expand and you should be able to move the filter
Why don't you email PUR and ask them (and include the picture above). They have customer reps that can walk you thru this.
It does not unscrew. It pops on and off. The white buttons at the faucet should slide back and forth to release the filter from the black adapter that is screwed into the faucet. It should pop right off. The use pliers or a wrench to remove the black adapter from the faucet and replace with an aerator.
it does unscrew, I had one. just unscrew the black ring. if it is too tight you can use a pliers.
I have the same thing just unscrew from faucet or go brita site there is a diagram
There are two little white buttons on either side of the filter near where it attaches to the faucet. Push both of those in at the same time and pull down. Then screw the adapter off seperately.
