I would recommend reapply grout that is sealed so it won't absorb the stain.
Agree with Tiffany- get a grout scraper and remove as much loose or old grout first. This will give the new grout lots of space to stick to.
Also, take some of the old grout to the tile section of the hardware store and compare to find the best match.
What is it made of? Tile, wood, grout, paint. Can't help if we don't know what material you are working with.
