I removed 2 layers of old wallpaper, but streaks of sizing remain on the drywall making it lumpy and it will look awful if I paint it like this.
Are you saying that there is painted tissue paper in your bathroom?
It really depends on what was used to adhere the tissue paper to the wall in the fist place... If it was starch... the method for removing wall paper should work... If it was glue... and the wrong type of glue... a paint stripper or extremely vigorous sanding could be required...
Wallpaper remover? Or Would it be easier to primer over the walls and paint instead??
Treat it like wallpaper and score it and steam it off.

That would kinda depend on what it was applied with? If you don't know, trial and error in a few spots might be best. I would score first and use hot water, fabric softner and a sponge to soak before scrapin off; try steam off and scrape; try sanding off.
