The easiest way is with a steamer. You can also try scoring the wallpaper and applying fabric softener mixed with water letting it soak and scrape it off.

If it is really stuck - no easy way. Lot's of elbow grease and spraying or applying hot water to let the glue loose. It is a tedious job that takes time and patience. Good luck!

  • The easiest way is to hire someone - and I'm not being sarcastic. Removing wallpaper is a LOT of work, like Cindy said above. Good luck!

Wet it thoroughly. Hopefully it was not applied directly on drywall without any prep.

Try peeling before you try scoring.

I usually pull off the vinyl coating (most wall papers are vinyl coating over paper backing). In a spray bottle, mix warm water and maybe a tablespoon of Downy or fabric softener. Spray on the paper backing stuck to your wall. Allow about 10 minutes for the water to soak in...it gets a little darker as it hydrates. Take a putty knife (nothing sharp, or you may gouge the wall) and try to lift up a corner or edge. Usually it will peel off. Most likely, you'll have to rinse the wall with a sponge, to remove any fabric softener that got on the wall. Allow the wall to dry, then on to your next step!

  • There are several ways. You can score it and use a wall paper removal formula then scrape it. You can use a steamer (easiest), and scrape. It's theres a lot, I would invest in a steamer.
