Hiding a phone jack

I have a phone jack on a kitchen wall. Any clever ways to hide it?

If you aren't using it, consider a kitchen-worthy print or metal design to hide it. I had the electric panel right smack on a major wall! A painting did the trick. Also, the thermostat was center-stage, so we put shelves up and put cookbooks on the shelves.

hang a picture (or cutting board?) in front of it! or if it's by a shelf/counter, a plant or canister set would be great to divert attention too :)

I have one also and it's right near a doorway about 5 1/2 ft up. I plan on painting a baker's rack in front of it and adding a plant.

If you are still using it, then hang a cute picture frame around it. If not, then maybe hang a towel bar above it and hang cute dish towels so that they will cover the jack. Or what about putting a small chalk board to lean back against it. Put your grocery list on the chalk board - in French - to cover it up!!!

I put a battery operated kitchen clock over the phone jack. It was very expensive and looks great, plus I needed a clock in the kitchen.

If it is possible you can use a planter with a fern. I have mine at the end of the counter. My phone is next to the planter. The pot is a ten inch pot the same colour as the accent colours in my kitchen. Hope this works for you!!

Mine is hidden under this small Rooster plaque next to the door frame. I actually found this plaque at my local Goodwill and knew instantly what I was going to do with it!

Phone Jacks are passe. I pulled all of mine out, cut the wires (no power is to them), pushed them into the wall and patched the walls with regular wall patch/painted.  EZ-PZ

Mine is next to the alarm system,  I put a basket over both of them.(it also kept little hands from pushing the alarm buttons)

I have set a wal shelf over mine and it sure did improver that eye sore of the phone jack. In my previous home I used an art canvas print and covered one there.

I have an old intercom system in my house. Each of the bedrooms have a component on a wall. In my daughter's room, I covered it with a canvas. The indention fit over the component perfectly. On the canvas, I made a collage of pictures and words that were meaningful to my daughter as part of a gallery wall of pictures.
