My lawn mower runs and cuts great, but the handle Is not able to be tightened enough, which makes it floppy when you push it...any ideas? I tried electric ties, but it still flops.

Try locating the loose nuts and bolts. Find the nuts on the interior of the handle where they connect to the deck. Use one hand to hold each nut steady with pliers and tighten the bolt with the other hand in a clockwise motion using an adjustable wrench. Next, find the nut on the inner handle where the top section meets the bottom section. Hold the nut in position with pliers and tighten the screws with a screwdriver. Bear in mind that fasteners vary from mower to mower.

If Shoshana's idea doesn't work it may be threads are stripped on the bolts. Also if it will not hold get some lock washers from the hardware store.

Yes I would add a split washer or rubber one, and use a new bolt.

If none of that works use a hose clamp or stiff wire to hold it in place
