They actually sell lampshades at Lowes or Home Depot that cover the whole light, and then you can use fabric or papers even to match your decor. Good luck!

Or you can easily remove these glaring and dated lights and purchase a new one at your local Home Depot or Lowes ...they are not difficult to remove or install.

I have one of those...I just used a lower what clear glass bulb and you would be suprised at the difference in the look : )

We removed the metal plate and spray painted it a black matte. We then used new bulbs with a diamond cut look (GE decorative halogen). We changed out the medicine cabinet to a mocha color and added a few matching picture frames and it changed the whole look and feel of the bathroom.
