Hello, I just had my electric box replaced in the house I just bought. I live in New England and it was $940.00. So now I can sleep at night as the old one was a fire hazard. It was the original box from the early seventies with fuses instead of brakers .
Wow! That is a bargain in my world. I paid more than that 17 years ago when I upgraded my house, and by most standards, my house is small. Still you can't put a price on safety and peace of mind.

The rules changed in Florida. Before I could sell my house there 4 years ago, I was required to change it out. It cost about $1000 then and according to my neighbors at the time, I did not pay as much at they did. Good Luck

We had one replaced in Maine for under $200.00. May depend on size and work required to replace it.
