What can I do about leather chairs ruined by my cat?

My cat ruined my dining room leather chairs with her claws is there anything I can do excpet replace them?

    If the leather is on the seat portion, that can easily be reupholstered. Most seats can be removed by simply removing the screws on each corner under the seating area. Measure the size and add a few inches all around and choose a design of fabric (or leather) you like and lay the fabric on the existing leather and staple or use thumbtacks to adhere the new fabric. Pull it taunt as you go. Here's a video showing how.

    You could recover the chairs. The seats should come off and you will see how they were originally covered. Not a hard job; I recover ours whenever I get tired of what's on them!!

    The answer is NO. I have the same problem you do. About the only thing I know of (and I've tried many things on the market that don't work) is to cut her nails very short and keep them short, then replace the seats. Sorry I don't have better news, maybe someone else does.

    Yes recover them and buy the cat a scratching post so that doesn't happen again.
