Yes! I repaired mine from my cat damage. It's a lot of detail work, but the results are worth it. There are leather repair kits you can buy at any big box store. It includes reinforcing fabric and several vinyl colors that you mix to match your leather. Once you get the right color, you apply the liquid vinyls per included instructions. My results were great but practice first!
Do you have pictures of the chairs. There are leather repair kits. If it's just scratches I would try a hair dryer and move it back and forth over the leather to soften it. Then gently smooth out the scratches. Just don't leave the dryer on the scratches to long or you could disfigure the leather.
Claim on your insurance? or use Slip over covers.
I have not used the patch kits, but a friend says she had good luck, so go to it!

I’ve had to used the leather patching kits....read thru the directions and it’s not hard to do. The patch lasted quite a while....yrs, not months.

there are a few things you can do to fix the damage. First, if the leather scratches are shallow, you can try to buff them out with a soft cloth. If the scratches are deeper, you can use a leather repair kit to fill in the damaged area. Finally, if the damage is extensive, you may need to reupholster the chairs.
Recover the cushions. Most are removable.
