Are you just trying to change the style, or are you trying to make the sofa higher to get up and down from the sofa. As a caregiver, I do this frequently for people who are elderly or have hip or knee problems.
When I injured my own knee, my sofa at that time was way to low, and the legs wouldn't screw out. So I had two options, make a 2x8" platform to set the sofa into or since I wasn't feeling up to it, I just got cinderblocks and it worked great. I also put a 3" slab of firm foam under the seat cushions, and it was so comfortable I left it after I recovered.
You can buy replacement legs on Amazon or from Ace Hardware, just decide how high you want the sofa. https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=replacement+sofa+legs+home+depot&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
