Is it wood furniture? They sell stain markers to match wood and that could hide the scratch marks.

Hi Susan, If the furniture is wood and the scratches are pretty deep you can wood fillers in many, many different colours now to match just about any wood. I would start by giving it a light sanding to smooth it out and then you can fill them with the filler. You can also you one of the scratch pens that come in many colours if you are just looking to colour it so that you don't notice the scratches anymore. You can get both at home improvement stores.

I bought a tube of scratch repair for my wood floors and carefully applied it to the cracks with my pinky finger...it comes in many wood colors to blend perfectly.

Hello, Application of wood filler and sanding followed by painting or staining might be an acceptable solution -often with pet scratches refinishing is a requirement for proper rehab. If you don’t mind a distressed finish sometimes just an application of the brown tinted furniture oil can be helpful disguise as well.

    I hope this helps.
