How to build a platform to raise my recliner up higher off the floor?

My recliner is too low off the floor. After having knee replacement surgery, it's even harder to get up.

    To do it properly and because of your surgery you might need some other changes made as well due to your surgery.
    I would go see your doctor and ask him/her to organise a occupational therapist to come to your home and organise your chair and inspect your home for other things that may need attention. 🤗

    how about putting a high cushion on top i did this not long ago after having two knee replacement and this helped a lot

    Make up a box frame the size of the base of your chair and then cover with a fabric using a staple gun to fasten. If you want to fasten the box frame to the chair try "L" brackets.

    something as simple as a pallet would work, have someone put a piece of carpet over it and staple it on , hopefully to match your carpet or the chair in color. My good friends did this and it helped them tremendously
