How to flatten the top of a Dresser that is warped?

How can I flatten out a wooden top of a small Dresser that was left out in the rain and became very warped? i removed the wooden top but can not get it flat.

You would need to run it through a planer if its solid wood, if not toss it and get a new piece of lumber to make a new one. You might take it to a local woodworker who has a planer to have the warped area planed out.
How bad is the warping? If not bad you could just sand it to level it out. If it is bad you might need to plane it to achieve a level result.
