Try rubbing plain white toothpaste in a circular motion with a micro-fiber cloth

O.k., this sounds crazy, but try rubbing mayonnaise on the stain. Don't need a lot, and not much elbow grease. Rub a little on, let it sit, maybe 30 seconds, wipe it off. This works great for steam stains, like if you put a pizza on the table. Yeah, don't ask how I know:) Good luck!

If you know someone who still smokes cigarettes, get the ashes and with a damp cloth rub the ashes onto the stains. It will immediately take out the stains. I tried this and it works beautifully. Good luck!
