How to repair spindle in chair pop out?

Wood glue and a clamp to hold the spindle in place until the glue is fully dried.Helpful Reply -

You can try filling the hole a little with some wood putty . After it dries, use wood glue to glue the spindle back in place .Helpful Reply -

Seems like the chairs flex from being loose. Try to tighten any parts that may have screws. Use wood glue for the spindles, but if the chair flexes the glue bond can separate. What I have done after gluing is drill 1/8" holes where the spindles slip in to the chair. Drill through the wood and spindle. Insert a 6 penny finish nail going through the wood and spindle. Cut off the excess nail and counter sink it. Glue dries and nail prevent the spindles from popping out.Helpful Reply -
