You can buy the rubber furniture 'coasters' that the feet sit into and that will stop the furnitre from shifting around. Hope this helps!

There are also self-stock felt rounds and squares that work well. I have found them at Target.

Small patches of bubble wrap under each leg may keep the furniture from sliding. It's the wrap, not the bubbles , that does the job. Small patches of the padding you put under rugs to keep them from sliding should work, too, depending on the finish on your floors and the weight of the furniture. Best wishes!

  • Any home improvement store, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, etc., all sell non slip / skid furniture pads just for this purpose. Is this what you are looking for?

Go to your local hardware store and purchase 'rubber furniture coasters', be sure they are rubber, as stores like Walmart sell plastic coasters, which will slip on wood.

i used the rubbery stuff you put under rugs to keep them from sliding. The felt pads didn't work for me. They still slid.
