I personally would not use it as food grade oils will easily go rancid.

If you have a wooden table or another piece of furniture that's been scratched, pick up a jar of PB to make it right. Simply smear some peanut butter on the scratched wood, let it sit for an hour or so, and then wipe it off and buff. The natural oil in the peanut butter permeates the wood and moisturizes it, providing an all-natural cover-up for scratches.
