Chipped and cracked concrete driveway- help!

Is there any way other than completely removing and replacing, that we can repair our concrete driveway? The entire surface is chipped and flaking away, and a thicker area near a step down to the yard is cracked.

Excellent question! Our (less than 2 yo) newly installed concrete driveway has had horizontal cracking and chipping too. We’ve applied the Quikcrete patching products to inclue the caulk gun type of repair caulk which has also cracked too. It looks terrible.I hope someone with experience chimes in with a bonafide solution that has worked rather than a reposting of links that have no user experience or rating behind them.Helpful Reply -

The areas that are cracked / chipping must be cleaned and debris removed. Then patched to a smooth surface, once patch has dried , you can then skim coat the entire drive way a concrete material ( Butterfield T 1000 ) at an 1/8'' thick . One 55lb bag should cover 48 sq ft at an 1/8'' thickHelpful Reply -
