Probably could try rubbing compound on a rag and then a buffer pad. Auto supply stores (like NAPA) could give directions and supplies. They may have suggestions after seeing the scratch.
Clay bar kit might do the trick.
Clay bars are a resin mixture designed to remove containments from surfaces. When you glide the clay bar along the surface of your car, it picks up anything extending from the surface. I would try Ken's suggestion. The buffing compound will help to fill in the scratch and the drill powered buffer pads can help improve the shine again.
